The Sheboygan Brats beat the Escanaba Wanderers, 7-2, at The Grill. Darío Rodríguez, in particular, was impressive. He went 2 for 2 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Sheboygan goes to 55-25. The win puts them 12 games up in their division.

Rodríguez contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Sheboygan in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 2-0, Rodríguez took a sinker from Hiram Sierra and stroked the home run to right. His 7th home run of the season allowed the Brats to leap in front, 3-2.

In postgame remarks, Rodríguez said: "To all who've been doubting my effort -- I hope they saw this game."
