The Sheboygan Brats defeated the Escanaba Wanderers, 7-5, at Roaring Dan Seavey Stadium. Sheboygan was led by 36-year old third baseman Harry Wolverton, who went 1 for 1 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. George Davies earned the save for Sheboygan. Sheboygan now sports a record of 51-41.

Wolverton had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 0-1 curveball from Hiram Sierra, he banged a grand slam home run to right, giving the Brats a 5-2 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Wolverton.
