Pérez Impressive in Bad Axe Win
|
In a well-pitched game between the Bad Axe Stoplights and the Alpena Partridges, pitcher Inocencio Pérez was superb. The Bad Axe right-hander helped his team win, 3-1. The third-place Stoplights now have a record of 45-49.
The 38-year-old Pérez turned in a performance that had his younger teammates taking notes. Pérez rang up 6 strikeouts and held the Partridges to 2 hits over 9 innings. Pérez is now 10-13 on the year with 108 strikeouts.
"Inocencio's stuff looked really, really crisp," said Tomás Díaz, the Stoplights manager.
