The Alpena Partridges beat the Bad Axe Stoplights, 5-1, at Birds' Nest of Alpena. Starting pitcher Javier García was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. By defeating Bad Axe, the last-place Partridges improved to 42-55.

The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the Birds' Nest of Alpena crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.
