The Saginaw Joes outlasted the Alpena Partridges in an extra-inning thriller.

Alpena got a terrific game from left fielder Dustin Randolph. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Saginaw, 5-4, in 10 innings. Randolph went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. The Joes are now 73-29.

The Joes got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Luis Coronado. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to right, to win the game for the Joes.

Coronado said afterward that he was "glad the fans were treated to a good ballgame."
