Partridges Collect 2-1 Win Over Stone Skippers
The Alpena Partridges in 15 innings beat the Mackinac Island Stone Skippers, 2-1, at Bouncy House. Starting pitcher Emmett Bowman was a major factor, holding his opponents in check all game. Picking up the save was Jaime Sepúlveda, his 4th. Alpena now sports a record of 46-57.

Bowman's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 11 strikeouts in 14 innings while allowing 9 hits. Bowman goes to 2-0 on the year with 21 strikeouts.

"Tough loss," said Mackinac Island manager Silvio Rivera. "But we'll learn from it."
