In a tight contest at Rapids Park, But Better, the Duluth Zeniths edged the Sault St. Marie Rapids by the score of 5-4 in 10 innings. Duluth right fielder Judá Gaitán, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. With the victory, the Zeniths record stands at 65-39.

Duluth used a timely hit from Mitchell Macleod to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Zeniths ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

Gaitán told a Duluth Observer reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
