The Bay City Sugar Beets had no problem beating the Saginaw Joes, 12-3, at Old Growth Forest. Ameer bin Zafar led the onslaught. He went 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for Bay City. Bay City is now 48-59, Saginaw 62-42.

Regardless of the outcome, those who came to Old Growth Forest for the Western Great Lakes Association contest enjoyed being there.
