Soggy conditions did not keep Buffalo and Mentor from playing their scheduled game.

The Buffalo Hopper Boys racked up a win at The Rosebush, bumping off the Mentor Rose Stockings, 6-4, in 11 innings. Alejandro Urbina, who started for Buffalo, pitched effectively for his team. The winner was Urbina. He threw 10.2 innings allowing 4 runs. The loser was Marco Martínez.

The game was at a stalemate until second baseman Ángel Cabrera came to bat in the top of the 11th. Facing Mentor pitcher Plutarco Magallanes, he hit a 1-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Buffalo on top, 5-4.

Buffalo manager Diodoro Dagnino called it "a darn good win."

The Hopper Boys now have a mark of 49-57.
