Getting a good performance from first baseman Timoteo Contreras, the Buffalo Hopper Boys defeated the Erie Commodores, 10-3. Contreras slugged 3 home runs, while adding 7 RBI and scoring three times for the Hopper Boys. Buffalo, at 49-57, sits in third place in the Eastern Great Lakes Association League of Lake Erie.

In the first inning, Contreras had a 2-run home run for Buffalo. It was his 50th home run of the season and put the Hopper Boys on top, 2-1.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Contreras told the Buffalo Bulletin.
