The Meadville Zips picked up a win at XYZ Stadium, knocking off the Norwalk Maples, 5-4. Starting pitcher Marcelino Jaques played a key role in the triumph. With the win, the Zips have a record of 62-47.

Meadville took the lead, 5-4, on Felipe Uribe's 5th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Uribe hit in the bottom of the eighth, made Norwalk pitcher Édgar Bethancourt wince.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Uribe.
