Partridges Come Up Short at Bad Axe, 8-7
A 4-RBI performance from the 28-year old first baseman Rafael Osuna helped the Bad Axe Stoplights beat the Alpena Partridges, 8-7. The winning pitcher was Sisinio Cortés. He's now 15-14. He went 8.2 innings, allowing 7 runs on 14 hits for the Stoplights. Felipe Gómez earned his 14th save in 16 chances.

With Bad Axe leading 3-2 in the bottom of the fourth, Osuna hit a curveball from Rafael González for a grand slam home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Stoplights ahead, 7-2.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Osuna.

Bad Axe is 58-62 and Alpena, with the loss, 51-69.
