Whalebacks Rally to Win
Superior registered a win at Edmund Fitzgerald Park by beating the Sault St. Marie Rapids, 5-3. Pitcher Jared Cooper was one reason why the Whalebacks triumphed. With the win, Superior has a record of 46-65. Sault St. Marie falls to 46-65.

With the bases empty and no one out in the bottom of the seventh inning, center fielder Landon Lincoln delivered big for the Whalebacks. Superior was trailing 2-1 when he belted a solo home run.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Whalebacks manager Devin Durrett. "This one was nice to get."
