The Mackinac Island Stone Skippers got a rain-soaked win over the Bad Axe Stoplights.

Led by Ken Paul, the Mackinac Island Stone Skippers downed the Bad Axe Stoplights, 7-5. Paul was 2 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Stone Skippers. Tito Hernández sewed up the save, his 14th.

Paul had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 1-1 slider from Felipe Gómez, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Stone Skippers a 7-5 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Paul.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Paul.

With the win, the Stone Skippers improved to 49-60.
