The Baltimore Orioles pounded the New York Giants, 14-1, at Union Park. Baltimore center fielder Charlie Dexter had a solid game. He was 3-4 with a triple and a double, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 3 for the Orioles. Baltimore occupies second place in the Eastern League at 46-41.

Dexter made an early impact for Baltimore when he stroked his 3rd triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which came in the bottom of the third, put the Orioles on top, 4-0.
