Wrexham starter Abdías Rodríguez clamped down on the Swansea offense, while his team cruised to victory, 13-1. The winner was Rodríguez. He threw 8.2 innings allowing 1 run. The loser was Orestes Méndez. The third-place Druids go to 64-58.

The Druids got an important contribution from shortstop Sam Darcy, who in the bottom of the first hit a first pitch fastball to right for a grand slam home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Druids ahead, 7-0.

"Not the preferred outcome," Swansea manager William Munro said, when asked afterward about the game.
