The umbrellas came out during the Galway-Derry contest at Harbourmasters Field.

The Galway Harbourmasters picked up a win at Harbourmasters Field, dropping the Derry Maidens, 5-1. Julio Morales, who is tied for 2nd in the BFS&I in quality starts with 24, was the difference-maker. The win puts the Harbourmasters at 84-39, while the Maidens drop to 59-61.

Morales was in the zone all game. He frustrated Derry hitters while giving the Harbourmasters 9 innings of quality work. Morales threw 93 pitches, allowing 5 hits and getting 7 punchouts.

"We certainly don't want to get used to losing," said losing manager Edelmiro Pompa.
