Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Giants
The New York Giants scored a tight, 4-3 win versus the Baltimore Orioles at Polo Grounds 1890-1910. New York pitcher Cy Falkenberg held his own in the contest. New York reliever Nick Andrews was the winner. His record is now 2-1. Christy Mathewson took the loss. The setback makes Baltimore 33-19.

In the bottom of the tenth, Nate Curry knew he could end it with one good swing of the bat. And he did, hitting a run-scoring single off Baltimore pitcher Christy Mathewson.

Falkenberg attributed the triumph to "a good team effort."
