Glasgow Nets 1-0 Win Versus Thistles

The Glasgow Shipwrights picked up a win at Shipwrights Stadium, knocking off the Inverness Thistles, 1-0, in 11 innings. On the mound for Glasgow was left-hander Aidan Clark. He played a pivotal role in the triumph. In 11 innings, Clark surrendered 8 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. The first-place Shipwrights have won 4 in a row.
Batting in the bottom of the 11th, 27-year old left fielder Lisco Flores had a real shot to win the game. Inverness pitcher Felipe García was determined not to let it happen. But with two outs, Flores hit a run-scoring single. The Shipwrights had a walk-off triumph.
