Danilo Portillo never let Cardiff get something going. The Wrexham right-hander commanded his curveball in pitching the Druids to a 5-1 win. The Druids improved their record to 67-60 with the win over Cardiff.

Cardiff could barely put a dent in Portillo. The right-hander tossed 122 pitches over 9 innings for the Druids, allowing only 5 hits.
