The New York Giants beat the Philadelphia Phillies, 5-4, in 11 innings. New York right fielder Nate Curry, in particular, had a fine performance. He was 3-5 with a triple and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Nick Auvenshine snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 2 innings. He's now 5-4 on the season. Bill Donovan finished the game for New York and earned his 1st save.
