Salmon Stadium was host to some intense drama.

Cork beat Limerick at Salmon Stadium, escaping with a 6-5 win in 11 innings. The win in large part was due to left fielder Cary Bailey. He went 4 for 5 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The Salmon win now puts them at 56-74.

The Salmon procured the win, in large part because of shortstop Samuel Alberti. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"The house was rockin'," said Alberti.
