Soggy conditions did not keep Limerick and Cork from playing their scheduled game.

Hurler José López gave the Limerick Gandelows a solid start. The native of San Juan, San Juan (Puerto Rico) helped his team defeat the Cork Salmon, 3-2, at Salmon Stadium. The Gandelows win now puts them at 76-55.
