Mateo Torres had a big bases-clearing double for the Zips in the top of the eighth inning. With Meadville leading 3-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 36-year old right-handed pitcher Scott Hawley and swatted a double to right. It was his 35th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Zips ahead, 6-0.

"That's a solid team effort right there," said Morel. "Everyone's feeling positive after that win."
