Wet weather did not postpone the Utica-Rochester ballgame.
The Utica Half Moons beat the Rochester Lilac Stockings, 6-2. Utica starter José Arce pitched a gem. The first-place Half Moons have won 4 consecutive games.
The Lilac Stockings had trouble solving Arce, who surrendered 2 runs on 4 hits over 9 innings.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Arce told the Utica Citizen.
