The Alpena Partridges picked up a win at Birds' Nest of Alpena, dropping the Bad Axe Stoplights, 5-2. Amadeo Jiménez, who is tied for 3rd in the WGLA with a 8.1 K/9 rate, was the difference-maker. Alpena currently is in 4th place in the Western Great Lakes Association League of Lake Huron at 54-65.

Alpena took a 5-1 lead on Ludovico Altamirano's 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Altamirano hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Bad Axe pitcher Pedro Jácquez visibly frustrated.

"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said Jiménez.
