Irondequoit and Oswego duked it out and the Peach Kings came out victorious.

Atanasio Balbuena, who is tied for 5th in the EGLA in innings pitched with 253.2, was locked in. The left-hander led the Irondequoit Peach Kings to a 6-3 win against the Oswego Hydropathists at Water Cure Park. After today's action, Irondequoit sits at 57-60, while Oswego falls to 66-51.

Irondequoit used the timely hitting of Acasto Quiroz to capture the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Peach Kings on top, 6-3. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but he made it count.

Quiroz said afterward that he was glad to help his team win.
