Big Day for Lewis in 5-1 Peach Kings Win
The Irondequoit Peach Kings topped the Syracuse Halites, 5-1, the lion's share of the credit going to designated hitter Orran Lewis. On the day, Lewis went 3-3 with a triple, a double, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Peach Kings. Gerardo Domínguez, the winner, improved to 16-8. He held Syracuse to 1 run on 4 hits over 8.2 innings, while racking up 7 strikeouts. With the win, Irondequoit goes to 65-58, while the Halites fall to 62-60.

With Irondequoit leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Lewis hit a fastball from Manuel Martines for a 2-run triple. It was his 4th triple of the season and put the Peach Kings ahead, 3-0.

"If it's down the middle," said Lewis, "you might as well hit it."
