The rain could not keep the home crowd from enjoying a good ballgame.

F. Scott, who is tied for 10th in the EGLA with a 5.8 K/9 rate, was brilliant in helping Syracuse beat the Oswego Hydropathists, 2-1. Syracuse now has a record of 64-60 with the win.

Scott's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 4 strikeouts in 9 innings while allowing 2 hits. Scott, who is tied for 10th in the EGLA with a 5.8 K/9 rate, goes to 12-10 on the year with 125 strikeouts.

"When I go out there," said Scott, "the last thing I want to do is let my teammates down."
