All went well for Atanasio Balbuena of the Irondequoit Peach Kings as he pitched his team to a shutout victory, 2-0, over the Utica Half Moons, limiting them to 5 hits. In the postgame interview, both managers had glowing things to say about Balbuena on the day.

"Atanasio's got a good selection of pitches he can throw at a guy," said Peach Kings manager Gregorio Sanabria. "He changes speed, gives different looks to different hitters. When he's on his game, he's quite a handful."

In the contest, the Irondequoit left-hander rang up 9 and surrendered 5 walks.

"He didn't give us any second chances," said Half Moons manager Martin Bate. "It's a guessing game with him and today we were always guessing wrong."
