Getting an impressive start from Alejandro Rivera, Holland beat Escanaba by the score of 6-0. The Wanderers, at 62-65, have lost 4 in a row.
It could have been a different outcome for Holland, had it not been for Veloso Muñoz, the 27-year old third baseman . Muñoz contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Holland up, 2-0.
"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Holland skipper Pedro Ortiz.
