The game between Erie and Norwalk is in the books, despite a little rain.

The Erie Commodores topped the Norwalk Maples, 6-4, in 13 innings at Syrup Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Erie pitcher Luis Toledo. Justin Magee, credited with the save, is now 1 for 1 in save opportunities.

Erie needed the clutch hitting of Pascual Rendón to seal the deal. The left fielder swatted a solo home run in the top of the 13th inning to put the Commodores on top, 5-4. For the game, Rendón had 1 home run and 1 single in 6 at-bats.

"I felt good up there," said Rendón. "I saw the ball well."

With the win, the Commodores improved to 55-69.
