Stoplights fans were sent into a frenzy with a walk-off win.

Bad Axe registered a win at The Traffic Jam by beating the Bay City Sugar Beets, 3-2. Pitcher Sisinio Cortés was one reason why the Stoplights triumphed. Cortés, who is tied for 6th in the WGLA in complete games with 19, went the distance for Bad Axe. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits.

Bad Axe got a game-changing hit from Aldo Hernández. The catcher blasted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a winner.

"We're scuffling right now," said losing manager Kevin Smith.

The 'W' lifts Bad Axe's record to 63-65.
