The Grand Marais Voyageurs got a rain-soaked win over the Sault St. Marie Rapids.
Sault St. Marie got a decent performance from pitcher Mateo Ramírez, but it wasn't enough to beat the Grand Marais Voyageurs. Grand Marais won the Rapids Park, But Better contest, 6-4. Ramírez threw 8.1 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. The Rapids, at 51-78, have lost 4 in a row.
Filóstrato López helped out the Grand Marais cause in the top of the eighth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the shortstop drew 2 walks in 4 trips to the plate.
