The Sarnia Roughnecks topped the Kingston Citadels by a score of 8-7. Leading the way was left fielder Ron Hamlyn. Hamlyn was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Roughnecks. The second-place Roughnecks have won 4 straight.

Sarnia got a clutch hit from Aimar Álvarez. The catcher launched a solo home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.
