Guanica and Sabana Grande took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.
The Guanica Panas got a stellar effort from pitcher Dave Lyle, helping Guanica score a win over the visiting Sabana Grande Tramantes, 4-2. Felix Engel closed it out for his 3rd save.
The fans who came to support the Panas were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Parquecito de Guánica.
"The clubhouse can get insufferable after we lose, so I'm glad we pulled this one out today," Lyle told the Guanica Times.
The Panas now have a record of 40-17.
