Tormentas Snatch Late Win
The Guayanilla Tormentas overcame a good performance by Maricao first baseman Diego Cisneros to knock off Maricao, 9-7, at La Tacita. Cisneros was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. The victory gives Guayanilla a record of 38-22.

Guayanilla used the timely hitting of Romualdo Hernández to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Tormentas on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"The most important thing is that we won," Hernández said.
