The Cabo Rojo Maravillosos pinned a convincing loss on the Lajas Fobianos, 11-3, at El Escombrón. Theo Scrivens was a main factor in the win. He went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice for Cabo Rojo. With the win, Cabo Rojo upped its record to 35-29.

With Cabo Rojo leading 7-3 in the top of the eighth, Scrivens came up to bat against Lajas pitcher Aldo Villarreal. Scrivens hit a fastball to right-center for a grand slam home run. His 19th home run of the season put the Maravillosos on top, 11-3.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Scrivens said.
