Pastelillos Lose 4-1 Decision to Las Piedras
Venancio Torres was nothing short of phenomenal for the Las Piedras Peritos. The 20-year-old right-hander was a big reason his team beat the Yabucoa Pastelillos, 4-1. At 41-25, the Peritos claim second place in the Liga José Padilla División Carmen Bozello y Guzmán.

The Peritos got an important contribution from shortstop César Girón, who in the bottom of the second hit a full count fastball to left for a run-scoring double. It was his 16th double of the season and put the Peritos ahead, 2-0.

"I didn't leave too many pitches out over the plate," said Torres.
