The Camuy Ermitanos picked up a win at Parquecito de Añasco, knocking off the Anasco Guerreros, 5-3. Starting pitcher Ludovico Ríos played a key role in the triumph. Camuy is now 39-26, Anasco 32-33.

Tied up with the Guerreros in the top of the fourth inning, the Ermitanos got a boost from first baseman Florentino Pérez. With runners on 1st and 3rd, Pérez saw a 2-2 splitter from Filemón Ramírez and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Camuy on top, 3-2.

"I'll be honest," said Ríos. "I was running on fumes at the end."
