The Bayamon Herradones defeated the Guaynabo Cazadores, 6-3, at Parquecito de Guaynabo. Leading the charge for Bayamon was second baseman Zósimo Valles. He was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Diego Conde nailed down the save. The win puts Bayamon at 41-28 this season.

Bayamon used the timely hitting of Saúl Ontiveros to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Herradones on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"This is a very good team," said Ontiveros. "We have the chance to do something special."
