Cayey 3-1 Losers to Pastelillos
In a low-scoring contest between the Yabucoa Pastelillos and the Cayey Brumosos, 22-year old right-handed pitcher Hernán Martínez proved to be the difference. The Yabucoa right-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-1 Pastelillos win. The Pastelillos now have a record of 18-51 with the win over Cayey.

Zacarías Rangel had a big run-scoring double for the Pastelillos in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Yabucoa leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from Bernal Ramos, who is tied for 2nd in the LJP with a 11.4 K/9 rate, and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Pastelillos ahead, 2-0.

"I was just taking it batter by batter, just enjoying the moment," said Martínez.
