Pastelillos Hand Cayey 5-2 Loss

The Yabucoa Pastelillos and Cayey Brumosos completed their game despite the rain.
Riding the 4-hit performance of the 19-year old center fielder Luis Curiel, the Yabucoa Pastelillos stopped the Cayey Brumosos, 5-2, in 9 innings. Patrick Bonnet, the winner, goes to 3-13. He allowed 2 runs on 8 hits, with 1 walk and no strikeouts over 6.2 innings.
Early in the game, designated hitter Amílcar González had a 3-run home run for Yabucoa. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Pastelillos on top, 4-2.
"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," González told the Yabucoa Daily News.
The last-place Pastelillos now have a record of 19-51.
