Aguas Buenas and Corozal duked it out and the Testarudos came out victorious.
The Aguas Buenas Testarudos topped the Corozal Maduritos, 5-4, in 13 innings at Parquecito de Aguas Buenas. The game was highlighted by the performance of Aguas Buenas pitcher Cástico Martínez. Toby Glew picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-8. Amancio Padro suffered the loss.
Aguas Buenas won the game in the bottom of the 13th inning. With one out and Amancio Padro on the mound for Corozal, right fielder Mitsuru Nagase hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Testarudos fans to their feet.
"Cástico's as tough as he is talented," said Aguas Buenas manager Uriel Corrales.
The Testarudos are now 15-58, while the Maduritos fall to 43-30.
