The Quebradillas Escondidos defeated the Mayaguez Alfereces, 5-2, in Liga Mariana Bracetti action at Parquecito de Mayagüez. Quebradillas pitcher Jérôme Delmas had a standout performance. The Escondidos improved their record to 42-33 with the win over Mayaguez.

The game still hung in the balance with two out in the bottom of the ninth inning. Delmas, however, wiggled out of a jam. With the bases loaded and Mayaguez trailing 5-2, Delmas retired Tomás Uribe, who flied out.
