The Adjuntas Beatos beat the Caguas Ruidosos, 11-6. Adjuntas pitcher and Maunabo, Puerto Rico, native Luciano López led the way. Adjuntas reliever Luciano López got the win, raising his record to 3-2. Santiago Parra was tagged with the loss. The 11th-place Beatos are now 31-44, the Ruidosos 44-31.

In the top of the seventh, Adjuntas got a clutch hit from Inocente Sánchez. The pinch hitter belted a 3-run home run, putting the Beatos up, 8-6. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a decisive one.

"We've got some hairy guys on our side, too," said Adjuntas manager Fergy Malone.
