The skies opened up and the rain fell at El Palacio Dorado.

The Hatillo Tritones trumped the Mayaguez Alfereces, 7-5, at El Palacio Dorado. Hatillo right fielder Alcibíades Arango was terrific. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times. The Tritones are now 38-37.

Hatillo catcher Carlos Cancino helped the Tritones go up, 6-5, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Cancino hit a run-scoring single off Mayaguez pitcher Nicolás Acosta.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Cancino.
