Malfabón Now 10-8 After Subduing Aguaceros
Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Guayama Aprendices take on the Humacao Aguaceros.

The Guayama Aprendices claimed a close win over the Humacao Aguaceros, due in large part to Santiago Malfabón. The Guayama right-hander pitched a great game to secure the 2-0 win. The victory gives the Aprendices a record of 39-36.

Malfabón was in the zone all game. He frustrated Humacao hitters while giving the Aprendices 8.1 innings of quality work. Malfabón threw 117 pitches, allowing 5 hits and getting 7 punchouts.

"Thought I threw pretty well and overall I felt good," said Malfabón.
