Moca Rallies for 3-1 Victory

The Moca Comefuegos picked up a win at Parquecito de Añasco, knocking off the Anasco Guerreros, 3-1. On the mound for Moca was left-hander Metodej Zizka. He played a key role in the triumph. Zizka got the win, improving to 6-5. He gave up 5 hits and walked 5 over 8.1 innings. He allowed 1 run. By defeating Anasco, the 5th-place Comefuegos improved to 40-38.
Isaiah Barnes came through with a big-time hit for Moca. The second baseman smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 3-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Comefuegos manager Alberto García, "I like our chances."
