Salinas Wins, Martínez drives in 5 runs
Olimpicos catcher Oliverio Martínez left his imprint on his team's 13-5 win over the Maunabo Tranquilos. Martínez was 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 5 for Salinas in the contest. Salinas pitcher Catamantaloedes Hernández got the win. He's now 5-11. Claude Rurangwa was tagged with the loss. At 32-46, the Olimpicos are currently 12th in the Liga José Padilla División Carmen Bozello y Guzmán.

With Salinas leading 4-3 in the bottom of the sixth, Martínez hit a fastball from Claude Rurangwa for a grand slam home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Olimpicos ahead, 8-3.

"Every manager loves to see an offensive outburst from his team," said Salinas skipper Bernal Valencia.
