The Culebra Careyes beat the Rio Grande Zarzas, 5-3, at Parquecito de Río Grande. The Careyes got a fine performance from shortstop Príamo Ramírez, who went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Sebastián Navarro picked up the win with 7.1 innings of work. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 5. On the season, he is now 7-9.
